Smarter than you think, easier than you expect!
The Number is an expert mix of mechanics: Bluffing, Risk-taking, but also Guessing (a mechanic that involves anticipating your opponent’s next moves and adapting your strategy accordingly). It takes 5 minutes to learn, but you won’t have it all figured out yet!
Each round, all players secretly write a number from 000 to 999 on their tablet, using the digits from 0 to 9, and then they are all revealed at the same time. Writing a large number earns more points, but it’s also a risky gamble… because if you have a number in common with one of the smaller numbers revealed by one of your classmates, you don’t score any points!
As the round progresses, you can no longer use the numbers you have used before, so the possibilities gradually narrow. It’s up to you to make the right choices, to bet high or to make yourself very small to keep your chances on the last rounds. After 2 rounds, get the highest score to win the game.
