Asmodee Canada Advent Calendar – December 2025 Official Contest Rules

1. Contest Organizer

The “Asmodee Canada Advent Calendar” contest (hereinafter the “Contest”) is organized by Asmodee Canada (hereinafter the “Organizer”).

2. Contest Duration

The Contest runs in three (3) distinct periods:

Period 1 – Family Games Prize

Start: December 1, 2025 at 12:01 AM EST

End: December 4, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST

Winner announcement: December 5, 2025

Period 2 – Gamer Games Prize

Start: December 8, 2025 at 12:01 AM EST

End: December 11, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST

Winner announcement: December 12, 2025

Period 3 – Party Games Prize

Start: December 15, 2025 at 12:01 AM EST

End: December 18, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST

Winner announcement: December 19, 2025

3. Eligibility

The Contest is open to any individual legally residing in Canada who meets the following criteria:

Be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry

Be a Canadian resident

Be a follower of the Asmodee Canada Facebook OR Instagram page

Excluded from the Contest:

Employees, representatives and agents of the Organizer

Members of their immediate family (spouse, parents, brothers, sisters, children)

Any person living with these employees

4. How to Enter

To enter the Contest, participants must:

Follow the Asmodee Canada Facebook page (@AsmodeeCanada) OR Instagram page (@AsmodeeCanada)

Like the contest post corresponding to the desired entry period

Comment on the post by answering the question asked:

Period 1: Who would you gift these games to?

Period 2: Which game from this prize are you most excited to play?

Period 3: Who do you want to play these games with?

Entry limit:

Only one (1) entry per person, per contest period

Participants may enter all three (3) periods of the Contest

Multiple entries under different accounts will be disqualified

Entry conditions:

Entry must be made during the applicable entry period

The comment must be relevant and answer the question asked

Inappropriate, offensive or promotional comments will be disqualified

Prize conditions:

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred to another person

No cash substitution or other form of compensation will be awarded

The Organizer reserves the right to substitute a prize with another of equal or greater value

Applicable taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the winner

Shipping costs are covered by the Organizer

6. Winner Selection

Random draw:

One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries for each period

The draw will take place on the Friday following the end of each entry period

The draw will be conducted by a representative of the Organizer

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received

Winner announcement:

The winner will be announced on the Asmodee Canada Facebook and/or Instagram page

The winner will be contacted via private message on the platform where they entered

The winner will have forty-eight (48) hours to claim their prize

In case of no response within the allotted time, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn

7. Prize Claiming

To receive their prize, the winner must:

Respond to the Organizer’s private message within 48 hours

Provide complete contact information (name, mailing address, phone number, email)

Confirm that they meet the eligibility criteria

Sign a declaration of eligibility and release of liability (if required)

Agree to have their name and profile picture published on the Organizer’s social media

Prize delivery:

Prizes will be shipped to the address provided by the winner

Delivery times may vary (generally 2 to 4 weeks)

The Organizer is not responsible for delivery delays caused by factors beyond its control

8. Intellectual Property Rights

By entering the Contest, participants:

Grant the Organizer the right to use their name, profile picture and comment for promotional purposes

Guarantee that they hold all rights to the content they post

Authorize the Organizer to reproduce and distribute this content without additional compensation

9. Privacy Protection

Personal information collected as part of the Contest will be used only for the following purposes:

Contest administration

Prize awarding

Contest-related communications

Personal information will not be sold, rented or shared with third parties without the participant’s consent, except as required by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Organizer cannot be held responsible for:

Technical problems, breakdowns or malfunctions of social networks

Lost, delayed or incomplete entries

Errors in Contest administration

Any material or bodily damage resulting from participation in the Contest or use of a prize

The quality, availability or any defect of the prizes offered

Participants agree to release the Organizer from any liability concerning:

Their participation in the Contest

Acceptance or use of the prize won

Any third-party claims

11. General Provisions

Modification or cancellation: The Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion:

To modify, suspend or cancel the Contest in whole or in part

To modify these rules

To cancel any fraudulent or non-compliant entry

Final decisions:

All Organizer decisions regarding the Contest are final and without appeal

In case of dispute concerning the identity of a participant, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the account holder

Fraud:

Any attempt at fraud, manipulation or violation of the rules will result in immediate disqualification

The Organizer reserves the right to prosecute anyone attempting to defraud or harm the Contest

Applicable laws:

The Contest is governed by the laws in force in Canada

Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the province where the Organizer has its head office

12. Obtaining the Rules

A copy of the official Contest rules is available upon request by sending a private message to the Asmodee Canada Facebook or Instagram page.

This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Facebook or Instagram. Participants release these platforms from any liability. Information provided by participants is intended for the Organizer and not for Facebook or Instagram.
